Everyone loves snuggling down with a good book and perhaps a cup of tea, maybe even a cat to curl up with you. But there is more to education and life experience than books. This site offers up a dose of all kinds of learning experiences that go beyond the pages of books.
Young and old, institutional or home educated, everyone can learn something new, share their experiences, enhance a curriculum, enrich their lives.
We are home educating family of six who has more books than DVDs, CDs and furniture combined. We also know of the importance getting outside to gather the sap flowing from a Maple tree, watch caterpillars turn into butterflies, enjoy a game of badminton, hear the songbirds, taste some homemade jam or listen to a children’s musical theater performance.
This site gives you suggestions of fun experiences in which you might learn something new. Experience, enjoy and pass on the possibilities!
